1st Annual Historic Jamboree
From Aug 28 to Aug 30 2026
Hosted by Blades of Avalon, this event is a dedicated space for Newfoundland and Labrador’s historical martial artists to socialize, relax and get to know one and other.
Bring your sparring gear and training weapons, as much camping gear as you think you'll need and maybe toss the guitar (or a tupperwear container full of various musical shakers) into the trunk too. This weekend is all about hangin' out with friends and going with the flow. The intinerary is loose, but the good times will be tight.
Don't have your own camping gear? Simply indicate what you don't have in the registration form and we'll reach out and work to coordinate making sure you have what you need.
Cost: $20.00 (+ HST)
What to Bring:
- Sparring gear & trainers
- Camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, camp stove, dishes, etc.)

Friday:
- 5:00pm - 6:00pm - Arrival and Registration
- 6:00pm - Welcome, Safety Talk, Housekeeping Notes
- 6:30pm - 11:00pm - Informal Sparring, Dinner, Impromptu Activities, etc.
Saturday:
- 6:17am - Sunrise
- 6:18am - 6:30pm - Informal Sparring, Breakfast, Impromptu Activities, Lunch, etc.
- 6:30pm - 8:00pm - Pot Luck Dinner hosted by Blades of Avalon
- 8:00pm - 11:00pm - Informal Sparring, Impromptu Activities, etc.
Sunday:
- 6:18am - Sunrise
- 6:18am - 2:00pm - Informal Sparring, Breakfast, Impromptu Activities, Lunch, Breakdown Camp, etc.
- 2:00pm - 3:00pm - Closing Remarks, Field Sweep, Packup and Departure
Important Additional Information:
If you plan to attend and will be parking your vehicle overnight in the park, a knightly parking pass may be required to be purchased upon arrival at the gate. The cost of this pass is not included in the registration fee for this event.

Orders are now being taken, but act quickly since the orders have to be recieved before August 1st in order to ensure Isabel has time to get them all done in time for camp.
